Join us for our six-week Introduction to Palmistry for beginners’ course

When people think of palmistry, they think of just the lines but it actually goes deeper much deeper than that. Learn all about hand and finger shapes textures and lines on the hand to be able to produce a competent Reading. A lot can be seen from holding a hand looking closely at the length of the fingers the shape of the fingers the feeling of the skin.

Palmistry is the practice of fortune-telling through the study of the palm. Also known as palm reading, chiromancy, chirology/cheirology.

Palmistry is a practice common to many different places on the Eurasian landmass; it has been practiced in the cultures of Sumer, Babylonia, Arabia, Canaan, Persia, India, Nepal, Tibet and China. Palmistry also progressed independently in Greece where Anaxagoras practiced it. Aristotle (384–322 B.C.E.) reportedly discovered a treatise about palmistry on an altar of Hermes, which he then presented to Alexander the Great (356–323 B.C.E.), who took great interest in examining the character of his officers by analysing the lines on their hands.
